Woodside is known for its rugged and natural beauty! The goal of this project was to honor the beauty of the lot that envelopes the house while creating a more cohesive feel to the landscape. It was designed to be tough, low maintenance and subtly showy. The garden is still young in these photos; they were only taken about 6 months after the fall planting. What you are seeing here, nonetheless, is the garden's successful first spring!

"From the moment I met Haleigh, I knew she had the talent and vision to transform my yard into something glorious.  She knew which plants would do best in each location based on sun quantity and she played color, height and plant dynamics into every choice she made.  She placed wispy plants in areas where the morning sun would hit them as they swayed, she placed dogwoods in dark corners and spots where they could shine and petal in the spring, she created cozy nooks where ferns could thrive and she placed draping delicate flowers along my rock walls.  I went into the project with a lot of needs and I felt like Haleigh carefully and thoughtfully solved them all.  Not only is Haleigh talented, she is responsive, friendly and professional."
